An Important Note from Xappho:
It has come to my attention that while the decision was made, no one went through the proper steps to inform the public, so here I'm going to lay down what is known within XDDA, but not yet publicly announced:
Due to some unfortunate circumstances with Xappho's internet, uploads and communications are on a temporary pause, which makes our updates difficult, however I'll try my hardest to keep better track of them. On a different note, XDDA has decided to drop off the map for a short period as we reform, regroup, and finish what we need to get done. We'll still be finishing our donation requests and uploading them, but as far as the website, the only things you'll be able to reach are this, and the progress page.
The reason for doing this is simple, we opened to early. We want XDDA to be all that it can be, and so, we are going to close our doors, shut ourselves within our headquarters, and go to town so that when we reopen, all of the following will be open to your disposal:
*A fully functioned, timely art gallery.
* Full stocked and completed premade gallery.
* Multiple Pay Per Use Portrait Sets/Free port sets
* A stocked Patch/Avatar Gallery
* Stocked Donation Bank
*Full Premade Alt market
* Description Department for Short and Long Descriptions, as well as histories and backstories
* A Web Design Department
*Art Tutorials and Classes
* Functioning Critiques Corner
*Working Advertising department
*Massive Fundraising Events and Activities
And much much much more.
We aren't rushing ourselves on the date of reopening, though it will probably be at least a month, possibly multiple. In that time, if you already have a donation request in, it will stay and be completed. Otherwise, we need our artists working on other items, so if you WANT their art, it will have to be through regular commissions, as they function on their own, as well as within this group.
